  • Should hold at least First Class rank.
  • Should already have musical proficiency.

Duties

Core responsibilities

  • Learn and play Reveille, Taps, Retreat, To the Color, and other appropriate songs.
  • Coordinate with the Scoutmaster on the right calls for each campout or event.
  • Call the troop to order at campouts when present.
  • Set a good example in uniforming, Scout spirit, and outdoor participation.
